We Want Nothing More Than For You To Succeed

It can be easy to place blame on anyone and everyone except ourselves when things aren’t going the way we want.

Taking ownership, accepting responsibility, and looking in the mirror for the reason why things aren’t going according to plan is hard.

This is something that even as parents we are persistently helping our children learn.

It’s easy to do - place blame - because it’s really hard to accept that we ourselves aren’t following through. Projecting our lack of success onto someone or something else is much easier than accepting that we aren’t rising to the challenge.

However, magical things happen when we start taking responsibility and own our actions. Success starts showing up when we decide that we’re the only ones that can do it for us.

Use your support systems, coaches, spouses, and friends as mirrors. Let them speak honestly, helping you see your blind spots while accepting their encouragement and guidance.

Because at the day’s end, they want nothing more than to see you succeed.
