Teaching is embedded in me. It’s not necessarily embedded in me because I have a decade of education experience or because I have a Ph.D., but because in order to be a good teacher you have to first build relationships; and that I love. My education experience is in elementary education, I have been a CrossFit coach for almost nine years, a high school strength and conditioning coach, and am now proudly a coach at AIM. My fire is lit at the opportunity to work with people during the achievements, hardships, learning curves, met goals, and everything in between the journey of nutrition and fitness.

Nutrition and fitness have been a constant in my life for almost ten years. CrossFit started as my outlet in high school and turned into my biggest hobby and passion that I now share with my husband, family, and friends. I have loved how fitness has changed in my life over the years. I started as an avid runner in high school, and found CrossFit at age 16. Throughout the years it has been a hobby, a career, a driver to compete, and now something I truly love and enjoy doing for myself. The one thing that hasn’t changed through all of those stages is how it challenges my mind and body equally. I believe this is something we need to do for ourselves every single day, which is how my passion for nutrition began.

Learning how to fuel and love your body is a learned skill. Nutrition is just like any other relationship; it takes time, communication, patience, hard work, trust, and an open mind. Supporting clients through the journey of building a healthier relationship with food is such a joy and something I am proud and honored to do every single day.

I am a mom, a wife, and a pizza enthusiast. You can either find me in the kitchen trying new recipes or anywhere with my little family enjoying the outdoors.
