Good Morning, Grapefruit!

Don’t forget that one of the best ways to promote good health and immunity is by eating nutrient-dense, whole food!

⁣⁣

Grapefruit is low in calories and is a significant source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Eating this mighty citrus fruit can help boost immunity because of it’s high vitamin C content and other vitamins and minerals that can aid in fighting infection!

Slice the grapefruit in half and cut along the edges of the grapefruit to loosen it from the rind. Sprinkle the fruit with a dash of brown sugar, monk fruit sweetener, honey or maple syrup and place on the center rack of the oven on a lined cookie sheet. Broil for five minutes, cut side up. Remove from oven and serve warm with Greek yogurt and toppings of your choice! ⁣⁣
