Shawarma Chicken Drumsticks

Drumsticks are an easy and inexpensive meal, which we buy in bulk, portion them out, and freeze them so there is always a protein on hand for a quick dinner.

This shawarma spice rub is our go-to because the flavors are warm and elevates the flavor of boring chicken:

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground coriander

1/2 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/4 tsp ground turmeric

2 tsp salt

Blend all ingredients together and coat chicken. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes on a sprayed baking sheet.
