Don't Hide Your Hard Work

I just keep thinking, “Gosh, I’m thankful I didn’t have a booger in my nose”.

Also, what a special picture.

There was a gal I competed against who talked about her training for this year’s CrossFit Open and CrossFit Games and how all she did was worked out 1 hour a day during normal CrossFit classes.

Instead of it making me feel embarrassed of my 4+ hours of training everyday in preparation for the Games, I found myself being proud of my hard work. I actually spoke right up and with a little laugh let her know that I was impressed and that I busted my booty everyday so I could show up at the Games ready to rock and roll.

It’s common for people to hide their hard work. Almost like they don’t want others to know how much work they put in in an effort to make it seem like things come naturally for them.

I think there is value in people knowing that you busted your ass to achieve something or show up as your best self.

Whether this is fitness, nutrition, career, or family related it’s okay to show others how hard you work to achieve your goals.

Be proud of the time, energy, and effort you put in because THAT is what makes you a high achiever.

Keep grinding, Friends. It’ll pay off.
